I finally had the time to redraw and finish this! The first drawing that I was working with turned out really bad. I wanted to work with it right away but life got in the way, but finally, I am getting on with the requests and commissions again. I hope nothing big happens again.
Anyways, these are Carlo (the elf) and his best friend Ettore. They are FoxandRabbitPress' characters. I wasn't sure if I should've left Ettore shirtless, like in the reference, but I thought it was going to look awkward having Carlo all dressed up and him without clothing. xD
Also, this type of lighting was challenging but I had so much fun working with it, I think it goes well with the kind of mysterious theme I was aiming for XD

This is really good work! I love how dynamic this feels and the lighting and shading are both really good. I like the smokey effects surrounding the characters which help with the overall composition, pulling your focus towards the character's faces, and I also really like the character's outfits. Especially the amount of detail present on Ettore's outfit. But where this piece really shines is in their faces. They are just so lifelike and characterful, I really like that. Overall, amazing work, keeo it up!
